Salazar Sensational for Eagles

Dedicated fans at The Aerie weathered the storm to watch their beloved Eagles beat the Blue Spaders.
In a low-scoring game between Whitewater and Kansas City, pitcher Manny Salazar was excellent. The Whitewater left-hander was named the player of the game in Whitewater's 1-0 win. Today's win puts Whitewater at 27-32, while Kansas City falls to 18-40.
The Blue Spaders had trouble solving Salazar, who surrendered no earned runs on 2 hits over 6.1 innings.
"We did just enough to win," Salazar said.
