Matsumoto Paces Hipsters to 4-1 Win
Shunsen Matsumoto never let Palm Beach get something going. The Austin left-hander commanded his splitter in pitching the Hipsters to a 4-1 win. Nobuharu Fujita earned the save for Austin, his 2nd of the year. The Hipsters saw their record improve to 28-29.

The Hipsters liked what they saw from Matsumoto. The 21-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Bums to no earned runs on 2 hits over 6.1 innings, and striking out 7.

"It's a mindset," said Matsumoto. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
