The 2028 season is getting ugly for Palm Beach.
Austin got an elite performance from starting pitcher Austin Muirhead in taking a 6-1 decision over the Palm Beach Bums. Austin is 27-29 and Palm Beach, with the loss, 14-44.
Alfie Canham was one of the major contributors to the win for Austin. The light-hitting right fielder stroked a triple to right in the top of the second inning. For the day, he went 1-3 with a triple and a walk.
"Glad to get this win," said Canham. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
