Bush Wackers Squelch Beach City Offense in Shutout Win
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 22-year old third baseman Jesús Guzmán, the Brisbane Bush Wackers stopped the Beach City Seals, 4-0. Brisbane reliever Mudasser Sabzvari got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Rajneesh Shyamsundar was tagged with the loss. At 33-24, the Bush Wackers find themselves in second place in the August Herrman League Phillie Phanatic Division.

In the top of the second inning of a 0-0 tie, Brisbane designated hitter Josh Bowmer drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It broke the deadlock and put Brisbane on top, 1-0.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Bowmer.
