Shade Topple Princes with Late Rally
|
The Stroudsburg Shade topped the Bel Air Princes by the score of 5-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman Chris Adams. Adams went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Shade on the day. The 6th-place Shade now have a win-loss record of 21-38.
Adams had a consequential at-bat in the bottom of the eighth for the Shade. Coming up with the bases loaded and Stroudsburg trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run double.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Stroudsburg skipper Raúl Pérez.
