Bombers Rally to Eke Out Win
The Bombers had to overcome a fine effort from Duke City pitcher Hayden Capel to grab a narrow 5-4 win at The Danger Zone. Capel went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Reliever Anthony McIntyre picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Andy Smithey took the loss. With the win, the Bombers improved to 22-22.

South Carolina took a 5-4 lead on Wang-fen Rui's 23rd hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Rui hit in the top of the 19th, left Duke City pitcher Andy Smithey visibly frustrated.

"Exciting game to play in," said Rui. "Getting the win makes it even better."
