Road Warriors Take Down Blue Spaders, 4-1
|
Pitcher Bernardo Guerra was sensational for the Westside Road Warriors in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Kansas City Blue Spaders. Guerra received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. The Road Warriors boast a remarkable 44-11 record.
Jim Kempenaars helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring triple to give Westside a 1-0 lead.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Guerra.
