Big Day by Lee Ignites Sting Win

The Houston Sting dealt the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws a 8-0 loss at Penlee Park. Micah Lee was the star on offense. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Domingo Moreno picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-0. He struck out 6 in 6 innings. The save went to Roberto Cruz, his 3rd this season.
With the game tied, 0-0, in the top of the third, Lee had a key at-bat for Houston. With a runner on 1st, Lee hit a 2-run home run off Tony Maloney, making the score 2-0, Sting.
"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Andy Franklin.
The Sting' win now puts them at 27-29.
