Beach City third baseman Walt Keough had a terrific game. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Bel Air beat the Seals, 10-8. Keough was named the player of the game despite the loss. Earning his 21st save for Bel Air was Naganori Naito. The Seals, at 19-34, have lost 6 straight games.

Had Carlos Perales not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Perales hit a 2-run single. That made the score 9-7, in favor of the Princes.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Perales said after the game.
