|
The Palm Beach Bums got a superb performance from catcher Bartolo Muñíz, but the Bethesda Hornets still won the game, 7-6. Muñíz was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 3 for 3 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times. The Bums, at 11-36, have lost 6 in a row.
In the bottom of the sixth, Bethesda left fielder Jonathan Greenhill had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and two out, Greenhill stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 7-5, Bethesda. For the game, he was 2-4 with 2 singles.
