Bernal Paces Sting to 3-1 Win

Another day, another victory for the red-hot Houston Sting.
In a well-pitched game between the Houston Sting and the Sioux City Knights, pitcher Miguel Bernal was superb. The Houston right-hander was named the player of the game in Houston's 3-1 win. Jason Graves, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 8th save.
Bernal, the winner, is now 2-0. In 7 innings of work, he gave up 1 earned run on 1 hit, while collecting 9 Ks. He essentially shut down the Sioux City offense.
"We're just feeding off each other right now," said Bernal.
The wins continue to add up for Houston, with the latest making it 8 in a row.
