Palm Beach left fielder Dave Mitchell had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-6, to Stroudsburg at Tim Raines Stadium. Mitchell was 2 for 2 with a triple, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Stroudsburg now sits at 15-20, while Palm Beach falls to 6-29.

In the bottom of the 8th, pinch hitter Darren Millbank gave Stroudsburg the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Shade had been trailing 6-5, but the two-out single off Palm Beach pitcher Carlos Romero changed that -- and Stroudsburg went on to win.
