Westside Road Warriors starter Jay Retter was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Springfield Capitals, 7-3. The Road Warriors, now 27-4, have had a terrific start to the season.

In the bottom of the fifth, with Westside leading 1-0, Hayden Viccars hit a curveball from Jeff Campbell for a run-scoring single, giving the Road Warriors the lead, 2-0.

Viccars said afterward that he was glad to contribute to the win.
