Bush Wackers Roll to 8-2 Win Over Sting
|
Brisbane Bush Wackers starter Subaru Suzuki had all his pitches working at Woodland Park. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Brisbane win over the Houston Sting. Suzuki, now 3-2, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing 1 earned run. Brisbane, now 20-12, has played well in the early going.
Francisco Molina produced a go-ahead single for Brisbane in the top of the second. With no one out and the bases loaded, Molina hit a 2-run single off Rogério Sastre. It put the Bush Wackers in front, 2-0.
