Late Rally Gets Win for Sting
The Brisbane Bush Wackers got a superb performance from pitcher Dan Northeast, but the Houston Sting still won the game, 7-4. Northeast was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball. The save was credited to Jason Graves, his 5th. The Sting have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 11th win in 32 games.

Claudio Reyes did his part for the Sting, producing a double in the bottom of the third inning. For the game, the designated hitter drew 1 walk in 2 trips to the plate.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Reyes told the Houston Chronicle.
