Blue Spaders Go Down to Defeat, 7-5
|
Brisbane third baseman Jesús Guzmán had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Kansas City Blue Spaders, 7-5. Pascal Leroy picked up the save, his 3rd. The Blue Spaders fall to 9-21 and continue to sputter in the early going.
In the bottom of the second inning, Brisbane got a break when Guzmán went to the plate. With two outs, the bases loaded and the Bush Wackers trailing 5-3, Guzmán hit a 2-run single.
"I think we all put in a good day's work," said Guzmán.
