9-6 Win by Princes Continues Hot Start
|
Michael Meadows helped his team muscle past the Brisbane Bush Wackers, 9-6. In the game, the Bel Air second baseman was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The Princes, now 19-8, have hit the ground running this season.
The Princes beat the Bush Wackers in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out home run Mike Jahn produced in the bottom of the first. Batting against Brisbane pitcher Dan Northeast, Jahn gave his team a 3-1 lead when he hit a 2-run home run.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Meadows.
