Blue Spaders Knock Off Seals, 5-1

Kansas City Blue Spaders starter Haden Nunn was in fine form against the Beach City Seals at Silvery Lane Field, leading his team to a 5-1 win. Getting the save was Callum Butler, his 1st. Despite the win, Kansas City, now 6-16, is off to a terrible start.
A key at-bat in the game came in the top of the fourth inning when the Blue Spaders sent teenager Hyung-oo Chang to the plate against Seals hurler Jack Barrett. With the bases loaded and a whole stadium watching, the kid controlled his nerves and delivered huge, hitting a single off a 2-2 fastball to score 2.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Beach City manager Nobuharu Chikafuji.
