Princes Keep Streak Alive With 8-1 Win
|
Palm Beach had no answer for Bel Air Princes starter Yasuyuki Tezuka, who flummoxed Bums hitters as the Princes cruised to a 8-1 victory. Tezuka, the winner, moves to 1-0. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 10 and giving up 1 walk. William Pendle nailed down his 1st save.
Munoto Okuta played a key role in the win. The Bel Air designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the second. For the game, Okuta was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
Palm Beach manager Francis Baker said his team was "out of sync."
