Shade Lose to Hipsters in Walk Off
The Austin Hipsters downed the Stroudsburg Shade, 11-8, in 10 innings. Jim Unknown led the way, going 2-for-2 for Austin. The Hipsters, now 4-1, have hit the ground running this season.

With the clubs tied 8-8 in the bottom of the tenth and runners on 1st and 2nd, Austin sent Unknown to the plate. He got a 2-1 fastball and hit a walk-off 3-run home run, to put the Hipsters on top, 11-8.

"Guys always talk about winning games because of the 'little things,'" Unknown told the Austin Herald. "Call me old fashioned, but I think baseball is about the big things -- like scoring more runs."
