Knights Suffer 5-2 Setback

Brisbane got a strong outing from Hirotada Nan as the Bush Wackers defeated the Sioux City Knights, 5-2, at Knights Field. Nan picked up the win for Brisbane, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Dylan Wilson recorded his 2nd save for Brisbane.
One significant plate appearance for Brisbane came with no one out in the top of the seventh inning. Bush Wackers shortstop Bernaldyn Pitschieller hit a solo home run, which helped Brisbane go on to win.
"I like winning," Nan told the Brisbane Today. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."
