Late Rally Gets Win for Mustang
The Carson City Mustang topped the Boise Hawks, 10-9, in 13 innings. Carson City shortstop Matsudaira Shimada earned player of the game honors with his performance. He went 2-5 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Carson City reliever Yuki Kokawa picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Hou-kang Li took the loss. Okakura Hirai recorded the save for Carson City, his 1st of the season.

The critical at-bat for Carson City came in the top of the 13th inning. With one out, Shimada hit a sacrifice fly, putting Carson City up, 10-9.
