The Phoenix Lights were defeated, 5-3, by the Boise Hawks. Leading the charge for Boise was second baseman Ricardo Díaz. He went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The Hawks move to 36-65 with the win, while the Lights drop to 61-41.
Carl Questi drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate for Boise. In a tie game with one out in the bottom of the first, Questi came through with a run-scoring ground out. It put the Hawks in front, 1-0.
