The San Antonio Storm Troopers pounded the Long Island Ducks, 16-1, at The Clone Army. San Antonio right fielder Misao Fujii had a solid game. He was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 6 runs and scored once for the Storm Troopers. Steve Ferguson got the win, improving to 7-7. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 2 hits and 1 run, while striking out 10 and walking 3. San Antonio goes to 56-45. The win puts them 4½ games up in their division.

Fujii contributed when he hit a grand slam in the bottom of the eighth. Coming with no outs and the bases loaded, the home run proved to be critical to helping San Antonio get the win.

"The score speaks for itself," said losing manager Bob Reece. "It was embarrassing."
