Phoenix Lights starter Noritoshi Sato was in fine form against the Long Island Ducks at UFO Field, leading his team to a 7-1 win. Fahad Munir converted his 2nd save in 5 tries. Long Island now has a 5-game losing streak.

Flexing his muscles for Phoenix was Juan Villa. The first baseman had a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first for the Lights. It put his team ahead, 2-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Villa was 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
