Predators Defeat Beehive, 7-3

Madison designated hitter Mike McCaw had a good game, even if his team did not. The Beehive dropped a 7-3 decision to Topeka at The Hive. McCaw hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The Predators now have a record of 48-43 with the win over Madison.
Making an impact for Topeka was third baseman Christopher Cozens. He drilled a 2-run triple in the top of the fifth. For the game, Cozens went 2-5 with a triple, while adding 4 RBI.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Topeka manager Armando Ortíz.
