Armstrong Leads Charge, San Antonio Blasts Bulldogs
The San Antonio Storm Troopers had no problem beating the Spokane Bulldogs, 13-1, at The Kennel. Jeff Armstrong led the way. He went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 5 for San Antonio. Cody Ladd earned the save, his 3rd. The Storm Troopers now have a record of 48-42.

Armstrong contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the eighth. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped San Antonio get the win.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Wayne Barnes.
