Ducks Knock Off Cincinnati at Long Island Stadium
Benefiting from Darren Payne's productive game, the Long Island Ducks downed the Cincinnati Snaps, 11-5. Payne was 2 for 2 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Ducks. The Ducks raised their record to 42-45.

Payne had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-1 slider from Brian Lapointe, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Ducks a 6-5 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Payne.

In postgame comments to the Long Island Gazette, Payne said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
