The Phoenix Lights got a stellar effort from pitcher Noritoshi Sato, helping Phoenix score a 6-0 win over the visiting DeKalb Cornhuskers. Phoenix has now won 3 straight, while the Cornhuskers have lost 5 in a row.
Kunio Suto chipped in for Phoenix, stroking a crucial 2-run home run in the bottom of the third inning. For the game, the right fielder went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
