Phoenix and Spokane duked it out at The Kennel and the Lights came out victorious.
Spokane left fielder José Palma had a good game, even if his team did not. The Bulldogs dropped a 8-5 decision to Phoenix at The Kennel. Palma was 2 for 2 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs. Robert Limby recorded his 5th save for Phoenix.
Wilson Ortíz had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the seventh for the Lights. Coming up with the bases loaded and Phoenix trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run single.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Ortíz said after the game.
Phoenix is 51-36 and Spokane, with the loss, 51-36.
