Duke City starter Rahmad Bintang pitched effectively against the San Diego Hops at The Brew Stade. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. Bintang, now 4-4, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 3, walking 3, and allowing 2 earned runs. Carlos Núńes picked up the save for Duke City, his 14th of the year.
Gart Rook played a key role in the win. The Duke City right fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the second. For the game, Rook went 1-4 with a home run.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Bintang.
The Danger now have a mark of 20-21.
