Howling Park was the site for Ford Frick League action featuring the Wichita Wolverines and Phoenix Lights.

Phoenix right-hander Fahad Munir made an effective start against the Wichita Wolverines at Howling Park, leading his team to a 6-2 win. Phoenix is in second place in the Ford Frick League Billy the Marlin Division with a record of 46-33.

The Lights took the lead in the top of the third. With no one out, Robbie Colwill hit a 2-run home run off Wichita pitcher Nicholas Norman, putting Phoenix in front, 3-2. For the game, Colwill went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Munir.
