R.J. MacReady was instrumental in his team's 7-3 triumph over the Boise Hawks. The left fielder went 1 for 3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs for the Long Island Ducks. The Ducks raised their record to 37-41.

There were several reasons the Ducks beat the Hawks, but one factor was Javier García. In the top of the third, the Long Island second baseman came to bat and hit a 2-run single. It staked his team to a 4-2 lead.
