Topeka first baseman Del Miller was instrumental in his team's 6-5 win over the DeKalb Cornhuskers. Miller, who is tied for 9th in the FFL in total bases with 117, went 2-2 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Predators. Dave Smith earned the win to go to 5-9. It could have been a different outcome for Topeka, had it not been for Christopher Cozens, the 21-year old shortstop . Cozens contributed a run-scoring triple in the top of the sixth inning to put Topeka up, 5-4.
