The New York Ninjas got a strong performance from pitcher Masaharu Aoki, who stymied the Wichita offense en route to a 7-2 win at Confucius Field. In 5 innings, Aoki surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 4. He allowed 1 run. New York is now 43-35, while Wichita is 36-41.
