Late Rally by Snaps Secures Win
The Cincinnati Snaps picked up a win at Howling Park, knocking off the Wichita Wolverines, 4-2. On the mound for Cincinnati was right-hander Les van Kleef, who played a pivotal role in the win. Cincinnati reliever Diviraj Sundaramoorthy picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Patrick Johnson took the loss. Pedro García earned the save, his 1st.

Runs were hard to come by in this one. Doeke de Wit's at-bat with two out in the top of the eighth, therefore, was critical. The Cincinnati third baseman hit a 2-run double, to put his team on top, 3-2.

"Les was throwing strikes, locating well," said Cincinnati manager Steve Nolan.

Cincinnati, now 31-44, holds 6th place in the Ford Frick League Junction Jack Division.
