Predators Go Down to Defeat, 5-2
|
The Topeka Predators and Spokane Bulldogs brought some excitement to The Field at Richmond.
The Topeka Predators went down to defeat to Masazumi Ohayashi and his Spokane teammates. The final score was 5-2 in favor of the Bulldogs. Yoshiki Sato notched his 15th save in 19 chances.
Also having an impact was center fielder Takaaki Hirayama, who stroked a 2-run triple in the top of the fourth for Spokane. For the game, Hirayama was 1 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Hirayama said after the game.
The second-place Bulldogs have won 4 consecutive games.
