The Minnesota Berserkers outlasted the New York Mafia, 7-5, in 14 innings. Joaquín Rodríguez led the way, going 4-for-7 for Minnesota. The winner was Minnesota reliever Kitahachi Gato, now 2-0. The loser was Clemente Curry. At 16-23, the Berserkers find themselves in 6th place in the Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division.

Rodríguez had no bigger at-bat than in the top of the 14th when the speedster hit a run-scoring single. The single gave Minnesota the lead, 6-5. It was his 48th hit of the season.
