Cincinnati right fielder Kieran Alexander was instrumental in his team's 8-3 win over the Phoenix Lights. Alexander, the 12 overall pick in the 2026 draft, went 2-3 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Snaps. The Snaps now have a mark of 28-42.

Kunihiko Sakai went 1-3 with a double and was hit by a pitch for Cincinnati. The 23-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Millard Dixon. It was his 13th RBI of the season.

Sakai told a Cincinnati Gazette reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
