Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Hawks
The Boise Hawks topped the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 8-7, with catcher Thomas Schmidt playing a big role. Schmidt was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Hawks in the win. The Hawks improved to 25-42.

Carlos Vásquez had the critical at-bat for Boise. With two out in the bottom of the ninth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It gave Boise the 8-7 walk-off win.

"We need to get rid of the bad mojo," said Schmidt. "Maybe this win will help."
