Predators Fall to .500 After Loss to Lights
The Phoenix Lights stopped the Topeka Predators, 9-2, at The Field at Richmond. The Lights got a big game from Qu-bing Ci, who went 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Phoenix reliever Fahad Munir was credited with the win, to go to 4-0. Michael Walsh took the loss for Topeka. Phoenix is third in the Ford Frick League Billy the Marlin Division with a record of 38-28.

Ci came through for Phoenix with a solo home run in the top of the second. He hit a first pitch fastball to right field, staking his team to a 1-0 lead.

Said losing manager Armando Ortíz: "Give the Lights credit. They took advantage of our mistakes."
