Carson City starter Kaong Foong put a stranglehold on the DeKalb offense. The right-hander had complete command of his slider in leading the Mustang to a 5-1 win. The Mustang now have a record of 33-32 with the win over DeKalb.

Parking one for Carson City was Tony Durango. The right fielder had a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth for the Mustang. It put his team ahead, 4-1, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Durango was 1-5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Foong told the Carson City Chronicle.
