Ducks Come Back Late to Top Storm Troopers
The Ducks faced a stiff challenge from San Antonio pitcher Abdul-Rahim Barakah, but persevered to claim a win at Long Island Stadium. The final score was 3-2. Barakah went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Long Island reliever Carl Tyler picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Naonobu Miyata shouldered the loss. Long Island currently is in 5th place in the Ford Frick League Billy the Marlin Division at 29-32.

Pedro Pinto was the walk-off hero for Long Island. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Long Island catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Pinto said.
