Fans who congregated at The Coliseum were treated to extra-inning drama.

Sandy Springs pitcher Roger Rogers gave the Lights all they could handle, but in the end, Phoenix left The Coliseum with a 6-4 win. Rogers allowed 3 earned runs on 3 hits over 6 innings. Phoenix reliever Christopher Fallows picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Callum Okel absorbed the loss.

Qu-bing Ci had the most critical at-bat for Phoenix. With one in the top of the tenth inning, Ci hit a 3-1 cutter from Callum Okel for a 2-run home run. It put Phoenix in front, 6-4.

"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Ci.

The Lights move to 36-23 with the win, while the Spartans drop to 25-34.
