Wolverines Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Ducks
In a high-scoring game between Wichita and Long Island, right fielder Lester Cracknell was a difference-maker. The 22-year-old earned player of the game honors in the 10-8 Wichita win. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Wichita reliever Dalijit Tagore was credited with the win, to go to 2-0. Casey Reynolds took the loss for Long Island. The Wolverines raised their record to 29-29.

Had Cracknell not come through in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Cracknell hit a 2-run home run. The Wolverines never looked back after taking the 10-8 lead.

Cracknell said afterward that he was glad to contribute to the win.
