It was a good time at The Rat Hole, where fans came to watch the Madison Beehive and Rock River Rats get after it.

The Rock River Rats picked up a win at The Rat Hole, knocking off the Madison Beehive, 5-4. On the mound for Rock River was left-hander Adharma Sughavanam, who played a pivotal role in the win. Rock River reliever Tsuyoshi Tadokoro picked up the win to move to 3-1. Tom Wilson suffered the loss.

Rock River won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Tom Wilson on the mound for Madison, designated hitter Jesús González hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Rats fans to their feet.

"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Rock River manager John Smiley.

The Rats, now 39-20, have won 6 in a row.
