Rock River left-hander Si-dao Chen made an effective start against the Madison Beehive at The Rat Hole, leading his team to a 9-3 win. The Rats have an impressive 37-20 record.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, center fielder Takejiro Nakamura came through big-time for the Rats. With Rock River leading 4-3, he belted a 3-run home run.

Nakamura told a Rock River Bulletin reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
