DeKalb starter Jayakar Ramadin put a stranglehold on the San Antonio offense. The left-hander had complete command of his slider in leading the Cornhuskers to a 4-1 win. After today's action, DeKalb sits at 25-31, while San Antonio falls to 29-27.

Tadao Hirata was one of the major contributors to the win for DeKalb. The light-hitting second baseman stroked a home run to right in the bottom of the fourth inning. For the day, he went 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Hirata.
