Mustang Walk It Off for 29th Win of Season
The Carson City Mustang beat the Wichita Wolverines, 4-3, at Cowboys Stadium. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Matsudaira Sato, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with 3 singles and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Carson City, at 29-27, sits in second place in the Ford Frick League Junction Jack Division.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Sato hit a cutter from José Santos for a run-scoring single. The Mustang, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Sato said.
