The Sandy Springs Spartans topped the Cincinnati Snaps, 14-4, with pinch hitter Denie Hinkamp playing a big role. Hinkamp belted 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Spartans in the win. Sandy Springs reliever Sukenobu Sato got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Ukessun Ilaes was tagged with the loss. The win puts the Spartans at 21-32, while the Snaps drop to 20-33.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, designated hitter Wes Alexander came through big-time for the Spartans. With Sandy Springs trailing 4-2, he belted a 2-run home run.
